Fabrix was created by mac enthusiasts for mac lovers. We are a small but dynamic setup based in tropical Singapore. Our love and obsession for mac and all things beautiful have driven us to the point that we can't live without them. We carry our macs around all the time, be it an iPod, our iPhone, iPad or Macbook. Unfortunately, as much as we love our macs, we can't say the same for the available range of carrying solutions. The nice ones are just way too expensive while the cheaper options are just not aesthetically pleasing enough. Hence, we decided to take matters into our own hands. We took fashion and functionality and spun them into a single product. We love our senses. Products should not only look good but they should also feel good. That is why we steered away from rubber silicon skins or plastic cases, instead we took a more organic approach - we made sure our products each have their own unique texture or print. When a user holds a Fabrix case in his/her hands, it should feel great as well as look great. We use only quality materials (because they just look better) and hire only skilled craftsmen with delicate workmanship (told you we are obsessed with the little details) to make our products. We made sure our cases are affordable for the masses because we believe personalization is an individual right. Beautiful macs deserve equally elegant cases. HOW IT ALL BEGAN ?

In the pursuit for the ultimate case to compliment the original iPod, we asked ourselves, ” How can we keep the iPod in its original pristine state, yet be able to carry it around stylishly just like a fashion accessory? “. It then dawned upon us that the answer was right in front of us. We took the sock and silicon skin concepts, took away the ugly and dust-trapping silicon, added soft inner paddings and funky fashionable fabrics, all sewn to perfection in precise measurements — an original Fabrix case was born. Having said that, many years have passed since we came up with Type 1 of our original iPod Sleeve. Right now, our product range includes precision moulded hard shell casings and leather handcrafted cases etc. We have acquired new machinery, equipment and parts that has enabled us to come up with even better designs. However, we believe that technology should not only be of cold hard metal or plastics.

OUR SYSTEM

Fabrix adopts a Just-in-TIme (JIT) manufacturing system which is in short the demand-pull system. Cases are manufactured when demanded by customers such that we can avoid stocking up chunks of inventory which adds cost. By constantly reducing our production costs, we are able to apply them to R&D so as to come up with more innovative products for everyone. It is also through these costs reduction methods that we are able to offer value-for-money products to your customers. We try to cut out the many layers along the distribution line so that customers can enjoy the cases at the lowest possible price.
